Insulation so effective you can hear the difference.
Install sound-isolating interior walls with speed and confidence. Along with its acoustic performance, Owens Corning FIBERGLAS™ 700 Series Insulation has excellent acoustical properties and comes in four densities, each designed to save energy and reduce heat transfer, lowering operating costs. Our Flame Spread 25 FIBERGLAS™ Insulation blocks sound and heat transfer as well as moisture, and has an assured low flame spread. Keep sound from going where it doesn’t belong when you insulate interior walls with Owens Corning products.
Floors & Ceilings
Isolating floors above and below.
Owens Corning products give you the power to make each floor of the building a controlled thermal environment. Above new or existing standard suspended ceiling tiles, Sonobatts® Insulation is designed to improve both the noise control and thermal performance. High compressive strength FOAMULAR® 600 boards are ideal for under slab, concrete floors and other high load-bearing applications. Thermal Batts are flexible FIBERGLAS™ insulation, made in R-values from 11 to 38, that enhances interior noise control by improving the Sound Transmission Class (STC) of walls and floor/ceiling assemblies. On any floor in a building, you may find an Owens Corning solution hard at work, just overhead or underfoot.
Pipe & Equipment Insulation
The durable, cleanable, ASJ Max polymer film exterior surface jacket doesn’t support mold and mildew growth. It can tolerate intermittent, short-duration precipitation during construction. The new SSL II® positive closure system was designed with advance adhesives to work specifically with the ASJ Max jacket to provide a tight, reliable seal that doesn’t need glue or staples. The maximum operating temperature rating is 1,000°F (with heat-up schedule).
